Getting Started/Basic Blending

Ok this is the basics. There are two different ways to blend pictures to make a graphic.

I am going to show you the easier, and more advanced way to do it. This way is a lot better than stitching the pictures together. And you can get a lot more pictures in a graphic.

Here are the steps to blending using the "Clone Tool"

1. http://i11.tinypic.com/6gbvxw8.jpg

2.

3. http://i9.tinypic.com/66djn2f.jpg
Open up something you can use as a base, and cover it (using the paint tool)
in white or black. (make sure, for a blend, the base should be NO MORE Than 500x500)

4. http://i10.tinypic.com/62h6ku8.jpg
Select one picture to start with.

5. http://i14.tinypic.com/6gccls2.jpg
Select Edit and scroll down to Image Size. (IF the file is bigger than the size of your base.)

6. http://i11.tinypic.com/53u5p8h.jpg
ONLY resize the width.

7. http://i11.tinypic.com/54l2x3t.jpg
Highlight the width, and change to desired size. (I used 300x300 so It's a close up view)

Now your picture has been resized. If the size does not look right, repeat step 7.
Press the "Clone Tool" button. Now Using your keyboard, press the shift button. And using your mouse, click on the picture.
YOU MUST do this everytime you begin to brush a picture onto your base.

9. http://i9.tinypic.com/62hi1k8.jpg
Using the "Clone Tool" (highlighted in green on your right)
and using step 8 above, begin to brush the picture onto the base.

10. http://i7.tinypic.com/68asl15.jpg
After the picture is brushed onto the base, it should look like this.

11. http://i19.tinypic.com/4tgzzsw.jpg
Repeat steps 6 through 9, with the second picture and it should look like this.

12. http://i14.tinypic.com/4uucqs6.jpg
Now exit out of the two pictures you brushed onto the base if you are pleased
with the outcome. Now repeat steps 6 through 9 again for the third picture below.

13. http://i15.tinypic.com/5z20gmw.jpg
Repeat steps 6 through 9.

14. http://i14.tinypic.com/4qsztdh.jpg
Once again repeat steps 6 through 9, for the last picture.
(you can choose how many pictures to have in your blend)
Now that the last picture (4th picture) is brushed onto the base,
your blend is now finished.
Check out the next tutorial (Adding Text) on how to complete your blend!
